Spring Tryouts

Travel Soccer Team tryouts will begin shortly for the upcoming 2008-2009 season. Tryout sessions will be broken up by age and gender as they have been done in the past. Individual age groups, dates and locations are located here.

Age Eligibility
Players Age Group is determined their age on July 31^st, 2008. For example, players in the under-9 (U9) age group must be 8 years old or less on that date. See website for FAQ's on age and/or grade groupings.

Fall 3^rd & 4^th Graders (U9 & U10)
Interested players in 3^rd and 4^th grade have the opportunity to participate in the club's travel program. The goal of the travel program is the same as the intramural program: to have fun while learning the game of soccer with a higher commitment level. This includes two practices a week, a game on Saturday against other towns, and various tournaments. As in previous years we expect to have two U9 and three U10 travel team for both boys and girls .Please register for travel fall/spring 08/09 this is a one year commitment.

Players wishing to continue in the town 3^rd & 4^th grade intramural program do not need to attend the spring travel tryouts.

Fall 5^th - 8^th Graders (U11-U14)
Starting with the fall 5^th graders and older, all players in Natick Soccer participate in the Travel program. Players must attend tryouts if they want to play on one of the top three teams. Tryouts are NOT mandatory for those players that do NOT want to play for one of the top three teams. Players that choose not to try out will be placed on appropriate teams using coach's evaluations and input from the club's coaching staff. Players of this age group may choose to play fall only, spring only or fall08/spring09.

*REMINDER that the detail tryout schedule, FAQ and Registration is on the Natick Soccer website. Deadline for travel registration is before the appropriate try-out for player's age. Intramural registration deadline is July 15 2008. KinderKicks will register in September.
