Coach Education Calendar

As part of our partnership with Mass Premier Soccer, we are pleased to present the following activities which develop and support coaches and players.  Please take advantage of these rich opportunities to grow, learn, and have fun.

Coach Clinics Series Schedule  

4/8- How to coach 8v8 in a 1-2-4-1 system when in possession: Peter Bradley-Strout U12

4/24 How to coach 6v6 in a 1-2-1-2 system when in possession: Peter Bradley-Griffin U14

4/29 Shooting/Finishing- George Nichols-Davidson U14

All above clinics are 7:00-8:30pm at NHS Turf Field

5/10 Defensive Principles - Tim Mason - Classroom/Field Coaches Play

5/20 Attacking Principles - Tim Mason - Classroom/Field Coaches Play

Curriculum

NSC coaches have access to age specific curriculum that can easily be followed on a week-to-week basis. This will allow players to develop at the appropriate level, covering technical, tactical, physical and psychological aspects.  Please see the following link for more info: www.naticksoccer.org/pages/2/129/

Game Observations

Coaches will aim to see every U10 - U14 teams during the season.  The coaches will assist or observe the NSC coaches' game management/communication and provide an assessment of the team's play with suggestions for future developmental focus.

We will be presenting an ongoing series of clinics for players.  Sessions will be open to all players in a given age group, will focus on a particular skill set or aspect of the game, and will be presented in a manner optimized to that age group.  Coaches are encouraged to attend and participate in these sessions as a means of expanding your knowledge and coaching skills.
